I love the trees in winter...they show their strength and character so clearly and profoundly as the harsh cold sweeps over their bodies. Despite the white-out periods when snow covers life in white, there is still signs of subtle color to be found in the black white and gray landscape.
Trees teach us about being rooted. When we root ourselves energetically to the Earth, we find a life-force that supports our spiritual growth as if we are nurtured by the Earths Love; the Earth energy.
Someone asked me the other day what to do when they have lost their cultural 'roots'. This is happening to so many of us these days. I believe that we lose our cultural roots so that we can find new spiritual roots. Our spiritual 'tribe' is a new sense of being part of humanity and the Earth in a renewed way - as aspects of a whole world, and we are all evolving somehow to support development on Earth and each other through our co-operation.
Go out in Nature and lose yourself in the company of trees to find peace and healing. Appreciate the beauty around you and share that beauty with dignity and respect.
